Jane began studying piano at the age of four and her love of music has been a driving force throughout her life. She was awarded her A.Mus.A on Piano at the age of 15 and also studied clarinet, oboe and harpsichord through secondary school and university. While completing a Bachelor of Music at Melbourne University Jane was the pianist for the Opera Ensemble.

 

In her Arts degree Jane pursued her passion for language with majors in French and Linguistics. This, combined with her love of the opera repertoire, has led Jane to pursue further study in France, Italy and Germany in recent years. Now based in Melbourne she is a competent, lively and sensitive musician.
